
Course Overview
If you already own a Permaculture Design Certificate and want to become a proficient designer, this is the program for you! If you don't have a PDC certificate yet and you still want to join, reach out to us and we'll give you a solution.
Our International Diploma of Permaculture is a distance learning course that can be taken from everywhere in the world. During the two years, you will develop a portfolio of 10 projects with the support of an international team of mentors.

During the two years of the Diploma of Permaculture you will also have access to regular webinars and community calls with renowned international facilitators! Read below for the full program.
When does the program start?
The Diploma of Permaculture will begin once we reach a minimum of 12 students. Since the course is self-paced, we will time it's beginning in a way that fits everyone in the group.

Our aim is to begin the Diploma around October 2025.

What will you learn?
During the Diploma of Permaculture, you will gain skills in the following subjects:

Designing regenerative land-based projects from scratch, with a particular focus on resource management, soil management, food production and trees

Creating a professional portfolio to show to potential clients
​

Designing efficient social structures - i.e. decision making, conflict resolution, distribution of responsibilities within a team/community/group

Designing invisible structures for your projects - i.e. business plans, timelines, maintenance and implementation schedules

Teaching permaculture. During the diploma you will teach modules of choice to a small group of students
​

You will have the opportunity of joining practical permaculture weeks with your mentors at a discounted price

Program​
The Diploma of Permaculture will happen remotely, over 2 years through a self-paced program. You will have the opportunity of choosing when to work on your projects and all webinars will be recorded for you to join in case you miss them.​
​
You will be granted the International Diploma of Permaculture certificate once your mentor will have reviewed and approved 10 of your designs. You choose when to deliver each of your 10 designs according to your personal schedule.​

On top of the 10 projects, the diploma will include the following:

A webinar every 4 months (for a total of 6 during the 2 years). The webinars will be deep dives into topics like water, agroforestry, soil, food production, decision making etc. These will be an opportunity for you to keep learning, engage with the rest of the students and ask questions

A community call every 2 months (for a total of 12 during the 2 years). This will focus on the social side of permaculture. The calls will include sharing circles and other techniques to support your personal growth during the diploma

The Mentors
The faculty for this International Diploma of Permaculture is made of accredited mentors who have made their hands dirty and have been on the field for a considerable amount of time. All of the mentors have college degrees in a diverse range of subjects and have studied with some of the most renowned names in the permaculture world. They all went on to pursue their own diplomas and have implemented many successful projects over the last decade.

Eduardo Terzidis is a permaculture consultant and teacher, a yoga teacher and an author. He likes to call himself a storyteller, because he loves to make important themes accessible to everyone. His career includes high level engineering research and world-wide experience. Today he focuses on teaching and managing consulting projects and he produces films, videos and books where he shares his philosophy and his work. Over 1000 students graduated with him, and he counts several successful projects across the globe.

Marco Matera is the co-founder of the Italian online magazine "Permacultura & Transizione" and of the Italian "School of Human Permaculture". He studied Holistic Management and specialised himself in Holistic Marketing & Business Planning.
He wrote the book "Scopri la Permacultura mentre fai la Cacca"" currently trains other permaculture teachers and he recently contributed to the Italian book "Progetta la tua via con la Permacultura Umana".

Giuseppe Sannicandro is the co-founder of ReGen. For years he has been passionately designing and offering consultancy to multifunctional farms, self-sufficiency projects and ecological communities and he is involved in urban permaculture projects. He mainly focused on agroforestry and water management for mediterranean and tropical areas.
